Three M1A1 Abrams tanks take on a pair of enemy bases.
This shouldn't be too hard. Sure, there's a very strong enemy force ahead, and yes, maybe they're well entrenched. And, OK, perhaps they know the territory. But we've got three Abrams tanks. Hey, who could ask for more?

Overview[]
The player controls an unnamed U.S. Army combat vehicle crewman, callsign Alpha 1-1. U.S. forces have landed on the northern coastline of Sahrani and are preparing to attack the SLA bases at Mataredo and Eponia. Alpha 1-1's platoon must lead the ground offensive and seize both installations.
There are no alternate pieces of equipment to choose from.

Walkthrough[]
Primary 1: Conquer the base[]
Switch to the driver's seat and move up the beach to grid Ga14 where the SLA base at Cabo Santa Lucia is.
Order the rest of your platoon's tanks to transition to DANGER mode and ENGAGE AT WILL, then issue them the NEXT WAYPOINT command (Hotkeys: 1-9). They can take care of themselves from this point forward; you only need to watch out for your own tank.
Proceed slowly up the hill and watch out for friendly infantry units along the way. There are three threats you need to be aware of:
One T-72 tank stationed at the mountain slope in the south-east (grid Ga19)
One truck supported by three rifle squads, also inside the base (the remaining two trucks are unmanned)
You shouldn't have to worry about the BMPs as your platoon should be able to take them out without much trouble. Prioritise the T-72 first as its weaponry is far more deadly. Switch to sabot shells and order the gunner to target it as soon as your character or your platoon calls out its position. You may need to fire off more than one shell to score a kill.
Once the tank has been destroyed, move up closer to the base. If your platoon didn't manage to destroy the BMPs, you'll have to do it yourself. When all vehicles and the remaining infantry are wiped out, the objective will be completed.
Primary 2: Seize and hold[]
NOTE:
A group of civilians may occasionally run through the base once it has been secured.
Be careful to not shoot or run them over as they can cause the mission to fail if they're killed.
Rearm from the support units back at the beach if necessary, then move further south towards the base at Pesadas (grid Fj25). Stick to the main roads as there's no need to go off-road just yet. When you're about ~ 500 metres out, get off the road and drive straight towards the base.
Make sure your main gun has sabot and NOT explosive shells loaded. Smash through the wall and immediately target the first T-72 that you encounter. The second and third tanks will be nearby (next to the barracks), but they won't have enough time to react to your arrival. Drive behind them and knock them out with another sabot. Once the three tanks have been destroyed, you can focus on eliminating the three infantry squads running around the compound.
After Pesadas has been secured, you will have to defend it from enemy reinforcements. The enemy Quick Reaction Force consists of a T-72 and two BMPs that will be approaching from the north-west starting at grid Fh21 (refer to the route marked in red with "Reinforcements" labelled on your map). Additionally, a rifle squad will be approaching from the south.
Fortunately, your platoon should again have no issue driving off the attack. Rearm as needed from the support units and set up a position overlooking the approach from the north, then move south once they've been destroyed to focus on the infantry. Alternate between sabot shells and your coax MG to take out the tanks and infantry (respectively).
When the entire QRF has been destroyed, some dialogue will commence, and the showcase will end in victory.
Tips[]
Don't forget that Team Switch is active for the entire mission. If your lead tank gets immobilised, you can still take over another tank and continue with the mission.
You can order the logistics units (via the Radio Menu) to send their trucks straight to your location, though you'll have to be patient with the AI as the drivers don't always arrive in a timely manner.
Recalling them repeatedly can force the AI to move if they happen to get stuck somehow.
It may be preferable to simply drive up to them yourself and rearm directly from the trucks instead of having to wait.
The KA-50 gunships that fly towards the second objective are scripted to ignore the player. However, they can still be destroyed with a hit from a sabot shell depending on the player's proficiency.
