History[]
Insurgent uprising[]

In a bloody coup d'état, a high-tech guerilla force is able to overthrow the country's civilian leadership and installs a puppet government to rule in its place.[1][2]
The civilian government-in-exile authorises the deployment of a multi-national peacekeeping force on Atida's soil to assist in the liberation of the country. With their assistance, the shadowy leader of the insurgents is eventually captured and brought to justice.[3]
Geography[]

3D overview of the island.
The island of Atida serves as the homeland of the nation and is located somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea.[1]
At least one major harbour is present on the north-eastern side of the island and is built to handle international shipping arrivals/departures.[4] Atida also is known to have a mountain located on the far eastern side of its landscape.[3]
Politics[]
Atida is known to have an established civilian-led government, though it was temporarily overthrown in a coup by insurgents.[5][1]
The civilian government has since been restored to power after the insurgents were defeated by the multi-national Task Force.[3] Who, what, or how it is governed in the aftermath of the insurgency is not known.
Armed forces and law enforcement[]
Atida does not maintain a standing army. Pre-coup, a police force was established at some point but has effectively been dismantled, as it operates as an arm of the high-tech guerillas that seized power.[5]
However, following their intervention, foreign forces in the form of the multi-national Task Force have been authorised to operate on Atida's soil to handle domestic crises.[5]
Society[]
Demographics[]
The entire population of Atida consists of native Attidans.
Languages[]
The officially spoken language of Atida is English.
