Australia is a BLUFOR faction in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the S.O.G. Prairie Fire Creator DLC.
Overview[]
Australia's military commitment to the defence of South Vietnam involves all branches of the armed services: the Australian Army, the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN).[1]
A detachment of the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) are also deployed alongside conventional forces. Together with New Zealand SAS, the SASR conduct a variety of deep reconnaissance missions and raids behind enemy lines.[2]

- Australia was not featured as a playable standalone faction prior to Update 1.2.[3] At release, only a small sub-faction of aviation units from the RAAF were included as part of the broader MACV faction.[4]
- The faction's units do not have access to a dedicated Australian accented radio protocol and simply reuse default American English voices.
