Belt Rigs are wearable vests used by West German military forces in ArmA 3. They were added with the release of the Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany Creator DLC.
Overview[]
A replacement for 1980s-era load bearing rigs, the Belt Rig is intended to complement the Bundeswehr's newly introduced Flak Vest.
It is available in up to seven configurations:
- A baseline Rifleman variant with multiple pouches for storing 5.56 mm rifle magazines
- A Crew configuration for vehicle crewmen which only has a single pouch
- The Leader loadout featuring a strapped SEM radio intended for squad leaders
- A Medic loadout with additional pouches and bags to store medical supplies
- A Machinegunner loadout with extra bags for 7.62 mm ammo belts and a container slung on the back
- A Demolitions loadout intended for sappers featuring multiple satchels for storing plastic explosives
- The Officer variant which only has a strapped holster for a 9 mm pistol or flare gun

The pouches, bags and attached accessories are camouflaged exclusively in the Flecktarn camouflage pattern. Only the rig's straps and some bags are coloured in olive drab. Belt Rigs do not provide the wearer with protection against damage from explosives or ballistic projectiles.
