Bitov (alternately Bítov[1][2]) is a settlement located in the Independent Republic of Nogova.
Overview[]
Bitov is a farming village on the eastern coast of Nogova. The village itself consists of several homes built close to one another at the T-junction. On the other hand, an array of crop fields is scattered along the western side.
When Nogova was briefly occupied by the Soviet Union in late 1982[3], military officers were known to have utilised the farmhouse (located in the crop fields to the west) as a meeting point to discuss plans for logistics and troop movements.[4][5][6]
Trivia[]
- Bitov's signpost unusually has the village's name written as "Bítov" with an i-acute.[1][2]
- The village's farmhouse is notably featured as an objective in the Resistance campaign (specifically in the mission Information). The protagonist has to stealthily infiltrate the farmhouse in order to eavesdrop on a meeting between a group of Soviet officers.[3]
