The Boonie Hat is a wearable hat used by West German and Danish special operations units in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany Creator DLC.
Overview[]
The Boonie Hat is a wide-brim hat worn by both the Bundeswehr's and Royal Danish Army's special operations teams.
Boonie Hats have a weight of 10 "mass" units.[CfgWp 1] They do not protect the wearer against damage from either explosives or small arms fire.
Camouflage[]
- 3-Color: Wüstentarn desert camouflage scheme.
- 5-Color: Flecktarn woodland camouflage scheme.
- M/84: Danish woodland camouflage scheme.
- Olive: Flat olive green colour scheme.
- Woodland: Standard U.S. Woodland camouflage scheme.
Trivia[]
- Boonie Hats were not initially available on Global Mobilization's release and were only included later on as part of Update 1.2 (which added West German/Danish SOF units).[1]
- The Flecktarn/Tropentarn schemes were added after the release of Update 1.3 following the inclusion of 1990s West German forces.[2]
