The CTRG Combat Uniform is a uniform worn by CTRG operatives in ArmA 3.

Overview[]

Worn by the operatives of NATO's elite CTRG black ops unit, the CTRG Combat Uniform is simply a regular set of fatigues but adorned in CTRG's unique Dazzle camouflage pattern.

They weigh a total of 40 "mass" units and provide only 40 units of space for carrying ammunition/items. CTRG's Combat Uniforms do not reduce damage from ballistic projectiles and explosions.

Variants[]

Rolled-up[]

Standard uniform but with the arm sleeves rolled all the way up. It is otherwise completely identical to regular Combat Uniforms (statistically).

Tee[]

The torso shirt on this variant has been removed, leaving the wearer's undershirt and arms uncovered. Like the Rolled-up variant, the Tee is also statistically identical to the baseline uniform aside from its appearance.

Camouflage[]

  • Arid: Two-tone desert tan/slate grey Dazzle camouflage pattern scheme. Suited for arid and semi-arid environments.
  • Urban: Ranger green/grey Dazzle camouflage pattern scheme. Useful for built-up city environments.

Trivia[]

  • The basic CTRG Combat Uniforms (in Arid Dazzle) were not initially available upon ArmA 3's release and were only added in the platform update included with the campaign's first episode.[1]
  • Arma3-faction-britisharmedforces-00

UKSF operatives training in Livonia for Exercise Electron-37.

Arid Dazzle-camouflaged uniforms are depicted being worn by UKSF operatives in an AAN News article with a photograph showing British forces taking part in Exercise Electron-37 (two years prior to the non-canon First Contact campaign).[3] This would suggest that CTRG's Dazzle camouflage pattern is actually British in origin, and not just unique to CTRG itself.
  • In spite of its inclusion, the Urban Dazzle uniforms are never used by any of CTRG's units and are only worn by Lieutenant James and his cohorts in Apex Protocol (specifically for the final mission of the campaign).[4]
