Camp Magnes is a military installation located in the semi-abandoned region of Nadbór, Livonia.
Overview[]
Established on the outskirts of Nadbór, Camp Magnes lies directly in the middle of Nadbór's military exclusion zone. It serves as the Livonian Defense Force's Main Operating Base (MOB) for the region, and is also home to their elite 5th Regiment special operations unit.[1]
Access to the stretch of road that runs west to Polana beyond Camp Magnes is strictly limited to military personnel only. Because the (mostly) abandoned village is designated as an LDF Logistics Staging Area (LSA)[2], civilians must exit Nadbór through the road corridor to the east only (in the direction of the Wrzeszcz crossroads).[3]
Trivia[]
- Its name is brought up and is marked on the player's map in the non-canon First Contact campaign.[1] However, Camp Magnes can never be visited at any stage of the campaign as it lies well outside of the playable boundary for all missions.
