Caps are wearable hats used by the Pathet Lao and the Khmer Rouge in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the S.O.G. Prairie Fire Creator DLC.
Overview[]
Worn by the majority of Pathet Lao and Khmer Rouge fighters, the Cap is a Chinese-style Mao Cap with a short brim. It comes in three colour schemes: tan, grey, and a two-colour version that features a tan crown with a black brim.
The Pathet Lao's Cap has a weight of 10 "mass" units. It does not protect the wearer from small arms projectiles or indirect explosions.
Variants[]
VPN Sailor[]
This variant is exclusively worn by sailors of the Vietnam People's Navy (VPN).
It weighs the same as the Pathet Lao's Caps (10 "mass") but is completely different appearance-wise. However, it should be noted that there are no alternate camouflage schemes for this variant.
Trivia[]
- Initially, only the VPN Cap was available as part of S.O.G.'s launch content. Update 1.2 would later add the Pathet Lao's Cap alongside the faction itself.[1]
