Armoured personnel carriers

This category specifically lists armoured personnel carriers featured throughout the ARMA series.

Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC) are designed to serve exclusively as battlefield taxis. They can be either tracked or wheeled but unlike Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFV), are usually either lightly armed and/or do not possess much armour plating.

They essentially form a middle ground between MRAPs/light utility vehicles and heavier IFVs; having greater troop capacity than the former two but less firepower and protection than the latter.
