Attack helicopters

This category lists both manned and unmanned rotary-wing aircraft which are specifically designed to provide close air support, and usually possess a combination of powerful avionics, heavy ordnance (anti-tank guided missiles/air-to-air missiles), and/or strong armour plating.

Helicopters which have gunship configurations but lack one or any of the listed traits do not count in this category (i.e. the AH-11 Wildcat in ArmA 2).
