Grenade launchers

Grenade launchers are handheld launcher weapons that fire large calibre (ranging from but not exclusive to 20 mm and up to 40 mm) grenade rounds fitted with either explosive, smoke or flare warheads.

Unlike heavier shoulder-fired launchers, most grenade launchers cannot exceed an effective firing range of up to 400 metres.
