Level II rating

This category specifically lists ballistic-resistant uniforms, vests or helmets rated at Level II protection standards.

Level II-rated gear/apparel provides slightly enhanced protection against explosives as well as bullet projectiles in excess of 5.45 mm/5.56 mm at point blank distances, though they are still unable to stop larger rifle calibre rounds.
