Level IV rating

Level IV-rated vests, uniforms and helmets are designed to provide increased protection against landmines and high-explosive based munitions. Their protective qualities against ballistic projectiles are mediocre and mostly unchanged from Level III-rated gear, as their focus is enhancing the wearer's resistance to explosives rather than gunfire.
