Medium armour

This category specifically lists all ground vehicles throughout the ARMA series that are classified as medium armour.

Medium armour refers to armoured ground vehicles that are usually fitted with heavier armament (such as an autocannon) while providing excellent protection against small arms fire and some safety against infantry-carried anti-tank weapons.

The weapons of medium armoured vehicles allow them to engage all types of ground threats and even low-flying helicopters. However, they still lack the necessary armament and armour plating which prevents them from outright engaging heavy armour threats such as Main Battle Tanks (MBTs).
