Squad automatic weapons

Squad automatic weapons are firearms that provide a squad with a portable source of fully automatic firepower.

This usually includes but is not exclusive to, modified variants of assault rifles fitted with longer barrels and/or integrated bipods. They can be either belt- or magazine-fed depending on their configuration.
