Sub-factions

This category specifically lists sub-factions featured throughout the series.

Sub-factions are essentially smaller factions or groups who are subordinate to a larger primary faction (i.e. NATO's Task Force Aegis in ArmA 3 or the U.S. Marines in ArmA: Armed Assault). They do not necessarily have to be a selectable faction within the game's mission editor, and may exist solely for storyline purposes rather than for conventional gameplay.

NOTE: This category is also applicable to "factions" from spin-off titles.
