Cator, alternately stylised as CATOR, is a Czech agricultural machinery manufacturer.[2]
Background[]
Cator manufactures a variety of tractors for the agricultural industry.
Initially founded in the 1980s in the former Czechoslovakia[2], Cator has made at least two tractor models that are still widely used throughout the globe:[3]
- CATOR 2009[4], primarily seen in Green Sea region countries like Chernarus as late as 2009
- CATOR 2019[5], used throughout Southern European, Eastern European, and South Pacific countries as recently as 2038-2039

Trivia[]
- Cator is a parody of "Zetor Tractors a.s.", a Czech agricultural machinery company that manufactured the "Zetor 8811" tractors that the in-game counterparts are based on.
- It made its debut into the Armaverse with the release of ArmA 2, and would reappear in ArmA 3 with the release of the Contact expansion pack.
