Combat Goggles are ballistic safety goggles worn by multiple factions in ArmA 3.
Overview[]
Combat Goggles are standard-issue amongst all frontline NATO, AAF and LDF troops. They feature a quick release strap that allows the wearer to easily adjust or detach the frame.
Combat Goggles weigh differently depending on the colour of the frame. The standard Tan-coloured Combat Goggles have a weight of 4 "mass" units[CfgGs 1] while the Green-coloured Combat Goggles are slightly heavier and have a weight of 6 "mass" units.[CfgGs 2]
Camouflage[]
- Tan: Black lens with a tan-coloured frame.
- Green: Dark green-tinted lens with a forest green-coloured frame.
Trivia[]
- The Green variant was not initially available as part of ArmA 3's release content and was only added in the Apex expansion pack.[1] However, it is not considered to be a premium asset and can be freely worn regardless of DLC ownership.[2]
- For unknown reasons, Combat Goggles with a Green colour scheme are heavier. This discrepancy with its weight has been present ever since the expansion pack's release.
