Comms Whiskey is a military installation located on the island of Tuvanaka in the Tanoa Province of the Horizon Islands.
Overview[]
Designated as Comms Whiskey, this outpost is built atop one of the tallest peaks on Tuvanaka Island. Together with the GSM station on the other side of the valley (north-east of Comms Whiskey) the facility originally served as a telecommunications hub providing mobile network coverage for the province.
Since mid 2038, the facility has been reserved exclusively for use by Chinese-led CSAT forces.[1][2] Long range surface-to-air missile launchers at Comms Whiskey and the GSM station contribute to the island's air defence network.[3][4][5] It is additionally supplemented by a mobile short-range air defence vehicle and is protected by a squad's worth of light infantry.
The facility provides clear sightlines over most of the island; depending on where they look, the town of Tuvanaka itself, parts of Nani and Belfort, along with the camp remnants and old harbour can be clearly seen from Comms Whiskey.

He was trying to pinpoint the exact location of CSAT's research site in a light aircraft. But he flew into their no-fly zone, and got himself shot down somewhere over the straits. Good news is, we believe he got our photos. Bad news is, they're at the bottom of the drink. I need you to dive down there, find our intel, and bring it back."
