The Coyote Backpack is a BLUFOR backpack used by both the U.S. Army and German special operations in ArmA 2. It was added with the release of the Operation Arrowhead expansion pack.
Overview[]
The heaviest backpack available to the U.S. Army and its allies, the Coyote can store up to twelve magazines[CfgVh 2] (or less depending on the type) at once in addition to a single non-heavy primary weapon or sidearm.[CfgVh 1]
Surpassed capacity-wise only by its British and Czech counterparts, it is far more useful than the smaller Assault Pack even though it lacks camouflage variety. Because of its larger size, the Coyote is best reserved for use by assistant gunners supporting MAAWS/Javelin operators.
Variants[]
Trivia[]
- In ArmA 3, Coyote backpacks can be seen randomly attached to the sides of Offroads (or can be customised to do so in the Virtual Garage). However, the backpack itself is not featured as a wearable asset.
