Armed Assault Wiki

Diving Goggles are used by multiple factions in ArmA 3.

Overview[]

Diving Goggles allow the wearer to see clearly while submerged underwater, as opposed to having their vision blurred. Relatively unobtrusive, Diving Goggles are stowed away when not in use and are only equipped once the wearer enters a body of water.

The baseline Diving Goggles weigh a total "mass" of 3 units, while sub-variants utilised by military divers weigh 4 "mass" instead.

Camouflage[]

  • Black: Matte black colour scheme.
  • Olive: Olive green colour scheme.
  • Tan: Tan colour scheme.

Trivia[]

  • Upon ArmA 3's release, only one variant of the Diving Goggles was initially available and was shared by the diver units of all three main factions. Game Update 1.08 subsequently added the three alternate camouflage variants for each faction (the original variant was left unused).[1]
  • As with the Blue-coloured Shades, the original factionless Diving Goggles strangely weigh 1 "mass" unit less than their faction-specific counterparts for unexplained reasons despite being visually identical to one another.
