Eginio (Altian: Αιγίνιο) is a remote settlement located on the island of Altis in the Republic of Altis and Stratis.
Overview[]
Situated below the mountain range of Skopos, Eginio consists of numerous wind turbines and three homes built along the road leading down the valley; one of which has been left in a dilapidated state. This road originates from Drimea in the far north.
After reaching the end of the road, travellers can continue on foot through the forest further south to reach a tiny cove which overlooks the Naftia Bay. The rocky beach is too shallow to support larger vessels from docking but can still be accessed by inflatable boats.
Because of its remoteness, Eginio is a safe haven for fugitives and criminals. More recently (as of 2034), it is suspected that at least one major cell of anti-government insurgents from the so-called "Freedom and Independence Army" (FIA), designated as Group South, are based at Eginio.[1]
