Built over the remnants of a former regime installation within the central Takistani highlands, it is located at the base of the Reegshur Valley, right next to the pro-government village of Jilavur.
Despite the frequency of attacks upon the FOB, Jester received little in the way of reinforcements, and was mockingly nicknamed as "home of the forgotten" by the members of TF Jester.[4]
History[]
On July 20th, 2012[5], the FOB suffered considerable damage from mortar strikes when a large band of insurgents and supporters of the old Takistani regime attempted to overrun it.[1] They were unsuccessful, however, and were repelled[6] by a combination of British troops, Takistani police[7][8], and local fighters from Jilavur under the command of its warlord, Masood Rabbani.[9][10]
Control of Jester would eventually be handed over to the New Takistani Army (NTA) when the NATO withdrawal was completed by mid-2013.[5] It is unclear if the NTA has continued to utilise the FOB, though the condition of the FOB post-Operation Crimson Lance would suggest that this has not been the case.[11]
Facilities[]
Barracks[]
Three pre-Operation Arrowhead concrete structures remain standing throughout the base, serving as a makeshift barracks for Jester's personnel.
Guard towers surround each corner of the FOB, though they too are older metal structures built prior to the invasion. Only the Hesco/sandbag bunkers have been recently constructed on the northern and southern sides.
Garage[]
An old garage serves as a rudimentary repair depot for motor vehicles.
Office[]
The brick building opposite of the barracks is utilised as the FOB's command centre.

Execution: - Lancer Red under the command of Sgt. Frost will engage any enemy threats to the base while TF Jester commanded by Sgt. Sullivan will defend the base perimeter. - The insurgents are mounting several simultaneous threats to the base: ground attack by motorized formations, encircling manoeuvers by infantry, and sustained mortar fire. Neutralize them in any order that you feel appropriate. The enemy has also established an observation post: destroying it may cause confusion in enemy ranks. Situation: - OPFOR moved to contact, supposedly to cut off and eliminate FOB Jester. UAVs have identified two section- to platoon-sized motorized units incoming to Jilavur from the west, a mortar site, and several section-sized infantry groups to the west, north and south of the base, probably insurgent. - BLUFOR is engaged by light enemy fire in Jilavur, Anar and Garmarud, but the advance of elements of TF Lion has not been delayed. An armoured reserve in Feruz Abad and Bastam move to the Reegshur Valley. - Friendly or neutral paramilitary groups may be present in the area, and may engage the insurgents."

British troops in the area reached their objectives by 1000 Z, have established strongpoints, and are advancing into the mountains. OPFOR put up minor resistance at Mt. Gur Dur, but have attacked our western flank in attempt to besiege and destroy FOB Jester, thus exposing its positions and intent. TF Jester and a section of 1 Coy / 2 PARA are on their own until the mechanized reserve of 1st and 2nd Coy are deployed."

Their successful effort to bind the adversary main force has enabled the Pathfinders to locate the enemy's main camp - the next objective of the battle group. The men of the 2 PARA fought well today."

Who's attacking them? Over. LION: Most probably some local heros beating the shit out of them, guerilla-style. Godspeed, Lion out."

Regular patrols have become a thing of the past. According to allied intelligence, enemy leaders in the AO are the ones who have been orchestrating the deadliest attacks on our PRT teams. The CIA provided three names: Abdul Warkhaidi, Jabbar Kutaiba and Rasheed Sabeer. It is our job to find these individuals and eliminate them, provided we can get them all in one place."
