Forward Operating Base Strelka (short form: FOB Strelka) is a military base located in the semi-autonomous province of Bystrica, Chernarus.
Overview[]
Established in the northern regions of Bystrica, FOB Strelka is maintained by Czech Army peacekeepers as part of BYSFOR's ongoing counterinsurgency campaign against the militia army of Radan Miyović.[1][2]
Similar to FOB Blanik, Strelka is relatively small-sized and is mainly intended to provide logistical support for units from the Army's elite 601st Special Forces Group (601st SFG).[3] Unlike the former however, Strelka lacks a helipad and only supports ground vehicles.
Facilities[]
Barracks[]
Three tents serve as a makeshift barracks. Two are located on the north-eastern corner of the base while the third is located in the south.
A guard tower is also built directly on the other side which overlooks the base entrance. Lastly, an antenna array provides the base with long range comms and as an uplink for UAVs.
Motor pool[]
The southern half of the base houses all of the FOB's support trucks, MRAPs and supply containers.
