Racing Helmets are safety helmets worn by go-kart drivers in ArmA 3. They were added with the release of the Karts DLC.

Overview

This is a premium asset that requires ownership of the Karts DLC.

A commercially available safety helmet ideal for motorsports events, the Racing Helmet offers both comfort and safety to its wearer. It has a weight of 40 "mass" units.

It is rated at Level I protection standards and covers the head and face. Racing Helmets are not intended for combat situations but can potentially save the wearer from being outright killed by a 9 mm round at non-point blank ranges.

Because they shield the wearer's entire head, Racing Helmets are also surprisingly decent at minimising damage from small indirect explosions, though large explosions and direct hits will still ignore the helmet's blast protection.

• Black: White frame with black stripes and visor.
• Blue: White frame with bright blue stripes and a black visor.
• Bluking: White frame with a bluebell flame-style decoration and chrome blue-tinted visor. Sponsored by the Bluking fast-food chain.
• Fuel: White frame with black, blue and green stripes, sponsored by the Altis-based Fuel company. Uses a black visor.
• Green: White frame with bright green stripes and a black visor.
• Orange: White frame with bright orange stripes and a black visor.
• Red: White frame with bright red stripes and a black visor.
• Redstone: All-gold frame with a black visor. Sponsored by the Redstone auto parts manufacturer.
• Vrana: Grey frame with black/orange stripes, sponsored by the Vrana Corporation. Uses a violet-tinted visor.
• White: All-white frame with a black visor.
• Yellow: White frame with bright yellow stripes and a black visor.
