Tactical Suspenders are vests worn by Polish military forces in ArmA 3. They were added with the release of the Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany Creator DLC.
Overview[]
The standard-issue vest of all Polish infantry, these Y-shaped suspenders can support a variety of accessories ranging from a pistol belt, ruck or extra ammunition pouches depending on the soldier's role within their squad:
- The baseline variant with no customisations
- An Anti-Tank loadout for anti-armour infantry and heavy weapons teams
- A dedicated Crew loadout intended for use by armoured vehicle crewmen
- A Leader loadout for squad leaders and field officers
- A Machinegunner loadout for automatic riflemen and support gunners
- A Marksman loadout for designated marksmen/snipers
- The Rifleman loadout, most commonly worn variant for all non-specialist infantry
- An SMG loadout for special operations teams deployed behind enemy lines
Variant | Weight ("mass") | Storage capacity ("mass") |
---|---|---|
Tactical Suspenders | 30 | 100 |
Tactical Suspenders, Anti-Tank | 40 | 160 |
Tactical Suspenders, Crew | 40 | 160 |
Tactical Suspenders, Leader | 40 | 160 |
Tactical Suspenders, Machinegunner | 40 | 160 |
Tactical Suspenders, Marksman | 40 | 160 |
Tactical Suspenders, Rifleman | 40 | 160 |
Tactical Suspenders, SMG | 40 | 160 |
Since the Tactical Suspenders are simply load bearing rigs, they do not confer any protective attributes to the wearer against small arms fire and explosives.
Trivia[]
- Tactical Suspenders were not initially available upon Global Mobilization's release and were only added with Update 1.1.[1]
- Prior to Update 1.5, the baseline variant had a weight of zero "mass", making it one of the few load bearing vests in the DLC that could be worn without any stamina penalties (barring any extra "mass" accrued from stored items). This changed after the patch's release so that it now weighs 30 "mass" even when it is unloaded.[2]
