The Forces Armées Nationales Khmères (short form: FANK) is an INDFOR faction in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the S.O.G. Prairie Fire Creator DLC.

Overview[]

The Forces Armées Nationales Khmères (FANK) is the successor organisation to the Force Armée Royale Khmère (FARK). Militarily backed by the United States, the FANK fights to rid the Khmer Republic of Communist insurgents from the so-called Khmer Rouge and its North Vietnamese allies.[1]

Trivia[]

  • The FANK was not initially available as a playable faction at release. It was only included after the launch of Update 1.3.[2]
  • As with all non-English speaking factions in S.O.G., the FANK's units do not have access to a Khmer radio protocol and simply reuse the (muted) Vietnamese radio protocol.
