Fotia (Altian: Φωτιά) is a settlement located on the island of Altis in the Republic of Altis and Stratis.
Overview[]
A semi-abandoned village situated on the western coast of Altis, Fotia consists of a solar farm and veterinary clinic.[1] Only a few of the homes remain settled as many of the outlying residences have been abandoned.
The dirt road originating from Agios Konstantinos to its south can be used to reach Fotia. A smaller dirt trail extends into the mountains to the north; heading along it will eventually lead to the (abandoned) mountain village of Oreokastro in the far north.
History[]
For a short while, Fotia was temporarily turned into a counterinsurgency outpost. It was manned by the Iranian-led CSAT peacekeepers of Griffin Regiment and was resupplied on a weekly basis.[2]
On July 20th, 2035[3], a supply convoy was headed towards the outpost on a resupply mission, but it was ambushed by insurgents from the so-called "Freedom and Independence Army" (FIA) who then managed to capture the truck before fleeing into the mountains.[4] The peacekeepers later departed from the outpost, and it was left abandoned for the remainder of their deployment.

Veterinary clinic[]
Located next to the solar farm, a double-storey house was once home to a veterinary clinic.[1]
The clinic was abandoned at the height of the FIA insurgency but was looted by bandits who were then stopped by a patrol of AAF troopers. The troopers themselves were slain by FIA insurgents when they raided the clinic for its medical supplies.[5]

- Fotia is prominently featured as the site of an optional objective in the main campaign's Scouting missions.[5]
