Fuel Containers are logistics items in ARMA Reforger.
Overview[]

Fuel Container (Reforger)
« | In the absence of a fuel truck, fuel containers can be used to refuel vehicles. Although their capacity is low, they can be refilled, carried, and used repeatedly. Field Manual

The Fuel Container is universally shared by all three factions.
Storage-wise, the Fuel Container occupies 2x2 inventory slots when carried (1x1 for quick slots) and has a volume of 100 cm3. By default, a Fuel Container always comes pre-loaded with 5 litres of fuel and has a weight of 5.25 kg. At its maximum capacity of 20 litres, the Fuel Container has a weight of 15 kg. When it is empty, the Fuel Container only weighs 2 kg.
To fill the Fuel Container, it only needs to be dropped next to a compatible structure or vehicle that allows for refuelling. The user needs to then face in the direction of the container and select the FILL FUEL CONTAINER action.

Examples of supported structures/vehicles include:
- Fuel Supply Points (both civilian and military)
- Fuel trucks (M923A1s/Ural-4320s)
- Petrol stations
- Standalone military fuel cisterns
If a Fuel Container is not being used to refuel a vehicle for whatever reason and needs to have its weight reduced, the user can purposely deplete it selecting the DRAIN action instead. This will gradually empty the Fuel Container every time the action is selected. However, any fuel that is drained in this way cannot be recovered.
It is also important to note that miscellaneous props that are not actually classified as compatible objects cannot be used to fill the Fuel Container. For instance, fuel barrels on pallets and standalone drum barrels are not considered to be compatible objects. Likewise, both the Light and Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Points also do not support refuelling.
Trivia[]
- Fuel Containers were not initially featured in Reforger's Early Access and were only added into the game after the official Update 1.0 patch.[1]
- Amusingly, Fuel Containers can be shared amongst vehicles that don't even utilise the same type of fuel. A prime example of this in action is a Fuel Container being shared between a BTR-70 (that is powered by petrol) and a Ural-4320 (a truck that runs on diesel).
- Prior to Update 1.1, if a Fuel Container was equipped but the user dropped their backpack, a visual glitch would occur where the Fuel Container would be permanently stuck to the user's left hand until they picked up the same backpack again. This was eventually fixed by the patch's release.[2]
