The GA Carrier Rig is a ballistic-resistant vest worn by UNA peacekeepers in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the Western Sahara Creator DLC.
Overview[]
An up-armoured derivative of the standard-issue Carrier Lite vest, the GA Carrier Rig is similarly coloured in the UNA's signature blue. It has a weight of 80 "mass" units[CfgWp 1] but still only has enough storage space for 120 units worth of ammunition/items.[CfgWp 2]
The GA Carrier Rig is rated at Level IV protection standards. Its armour plates cover the wearer's abdomen, diaphragm, and chest. Due to the addition of a neck protector and pelvic guard, it also offers protection for the wearer's neck and pelvis against blast damage from indirect explosions and frag grenades.
Against damage from ballistic projectiles, its protective properties (for the abdomen/chest/diaphragm areas only) are identical to the Carrier Lite, allowing the wearer to withstand being struck by a single 7.62 mm DMR/battle rifle round at point blank range.

- Despite the fact that its model doesn't have any shoulder guards/pauldrons, the UNA GA Carrier Rig strangely has protective attributes assigned for the wearer's arms (base armour value of 8 with a damage reduction modifier of 50%).[1]
