The GraPi is a 40 mm grenade launcher used exclusively by West German military forces in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany Creator DLC.
Overview[]
A single-shot, break action grenade launcher, it is capable of firing NATO standard 40 mm low-velocity grenade rounds.
It can only be loaded with a single 40 mm grenade at a time. The GraPi cannot be fitted with optical sights, but features a folding leaf sight which can be zeroed up to a maximum of 350 metres (adjustments are made in 50 metre increments).
The GraPi is an excellent force multiplier for West German rifle squads, offering a compact alternative to most infantry and non-armoured vehicular threats without the need to bring a bulky shoulder-fired launcher or cumbersome muzzle-loaded rifle grenades.
Though its grenade rounds are obviously weaker and less hard-hitting compared to dedicated anti-vehicle launchers, it compensates by allowing the user to carry as many spare rounds as they can fit into their vest and uniform. This eschews the need for a backpack and helps to save stamina, allowing them to carry equipment for other duties.
However, because the operator has to effectively give up the use of their primary weapon, the GraPi forces the user to carry a backup firearm in their backpack or bring a sidearm to fall back onto. Furthermore, outside of breaching into buildings or enclosed areas, the GraPi's minimum engagement range of 50 metres renders it completely useless for fighting in close quarters.
Sights[]

The GraPi's sights can be manually zeroed starting at a minimum of 50 metres up to a maximum of 350 metres (50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350). By default, the ladder remains folded and is set to a range of 50 metres (the user aims with the front/rear sights instead). The ladder will be raised once the user adjusts zeroing to 150 metres and beyond.
The five dots on both the rear sights, front post and uppermost tip of the ladder are illuminated. During daytime, they will appear white but will glow green in low-light conditions. However, it should be noted that this does not apply to the range markings on the ladder.

Trivia[]
- Its stock will automatically fold and unfold when not in use.
- The GraPi was not originally available as part of Global Mobilization's launch content and was only included after Update 1.3's release.[1]
