Grozovia is a country located in the Green Sea region.
History
Operation Harvest Red
Ready for war, elements of the 27th MEU are stationed in Grozovia in anticipation of Operation Harvest Red.

Troops from the United States had been stationed in Grozovia ever since October 9th, 2008.[1] Specifically, they comprised of U.S. Marines from the 27th Marine Expeditionary Unit (27th MEU).[2][3]
In early October 2009, a civil war would erupt in neighbouring Chernarus and was fought between government forces and pro-Russian separatists.[4] The 27th MEU would soon be deployed to support Chernarussian government forces to drive back the separatists and reclaim the rogue province.[1]
However, their presence in the region was controversial in light of the bitter deadlock at the UN Security Council between the U.S. and Russian government. The 27th MEU's deployment was not officially sanctioned by the Council and was the result of secret negotiations between American officials and the Chernarussian government-in-exile.[5]

As of 2035, the country's diplomatic alignment to either the East or the West is not known.
Trivia
- To date, no official sources other than the Armaverse Timeline[1] and one of ArmA 2's preview trailers for the USMC faction[2] has explicitly referred to the country's existence.
- Even the trailer itself simply reuses Utes (specifically the main airstrip) and other parts of the terrain to depict the so-called "US Marine Corps base in Grozovia".
- No official maps also show where exactly the country is located other than being supposedly coasted somewhere around the Green Sea.
