The Guerilla Garment is an outfit worn by pro-AAF paramilitary fighters, criminals, Altian government Loyalists and their FIA successors in ArmA 3.
Overview[]
An informal outfit worn by guerilla fighters and paramilitary groups alike, Guerilla Garments combine AAF Digital-camouflaged pants with a plain shirt and a lowered shemag wrapped around the wearer's neck.
The shirt is available in either a beige tan or olive green colour. Both share the same weight of 30 "mass" units[CfgWp 1][CfgWp 2] but only provide 30 units worth of space for storing ammunition/items.[CfgWp 3][CfgWp 4] Guerilla Garments do not offer any protection from explosives or ballistic projectiles.
Variants[]
Guerilla Outfit[]
Unlike regular Guerilla Garments, the Guerilla Outfit features a poloshirt with rolled-up sleeves and cargo pants.
It is available in three varieties:
- One with a green checkered poloshirt and dark grey cargo pants
- Another with a black poloshirt and tan pants
- A third that has a dark grey-coloured poloshirt and olive green pants
No matter the colours, the outfits all weigh the same (30 "mass" units)[CfgWp 5][CfgWp 6][CfgWp 7] and share an identical storage capacity with Guerilla Garments (also 30 "mass").[CfgWp 8][CfgWp 9][CfgWp 10]
Guerilla Uniform[]
Worn by AAF defectors and senior FIA officers/cell leaders, it is a stripped down version of AAF Officer fatigues with khaki pants and a white shemag.
Compared to the standard Guerilla Garment, the Guerilla Uniform is slightly heavier to wear (40 "mass" units)[CfgWp 11] but also provides 10 additional units of space for storing ammunition/items.[CfgWp 12]
Guerilla Apparel[]
The Guerilla Apparel consists of an olive green sweater and two-tone brown/khaki pants.
Statistically, they are identical to regular Guerilla Garments with regards to "mass" capacity/weight (30/30 "mass" units).[CfgWp 13][CfgWp 14]
Guerilla Smocks[]
Intended for hunters, this variant features mud brown-coloured smocks, faded blue jeans and an olive green shemag wrapped around the wearer's neck.
Out of all of the Guerilla Garment derivatives, the Guerilla Smocks is the only uniform variant that has the highest storage capacity with a total of 50 "mass" units.[CfgWp 16] However, this also comes at a cost of weight as it is also the heaviest variant to wear (50 "mass").[CfgWp 15]
Combat Fatigues (Stavrou)[]
Worn exclusively by FIA leader Kostas Stavrou, this version features a dark brown/pale khaki undershirt with black cargo pants.
It weighs and provides the same amount of "mass" as regular Guerilla Outfits (40/40 "mass" units).[CfgWp 17][CfgWp 18]

Trivia[]
- With the exception of Kostas Stavrou's Combat Fatigues, the Guerilla Garment and all of its derivatives have side-locked versions that can be worn by REDFOR and INDFOR units without the need to use the forceAddUniform scripting command.[1] These alternate variants are normally not visible in the Virtual Arsenal as they are exclusively worn by the REDFOR/INDFOR version(s) of the FIA faction (who are in turn used to represent various weapons smuggler/bandit groups in the main campaign).
- At release, Stavrou's unique Combat Fatigues always had tattoos applied onto the wearer's arms regardless of their ethnicity. In a similar fashion to Nikos Panagopoulos' smuggler clothing, the arms shared the same texture with the uniform until they were properly separated in later patches.
- The Guerilla Smocks were not initially available upon ArmA 3's release and were only added after the campaign's second episode.[2]
- The Guerilla Apparel was similarly not included until the release of the free Bootcamp Update[3], whilst the olive-coloured Guerilla Garments were only added after the Laws of War DLC's release.[4]
- The information below details unused, pre-release or removed content.
- Upon release of the main campaign's second episode, the Guerilla Smocks were coloured in yellow like the Hunting Clothes.[5]
The original Guerilla Smocks.
- Both the icon[6] and texture[7] for the deprecated version is still available within the game files and its "uniform" can even be added through scripting commands (Classname: U_BG_Guerilla3_2). However, it shares the same appearance with the Guerilla Apparel since the original unit has been refactored and no longer uses its texture.
