The Helmet M/52 is a ballistic-resistant helmet used by Danish military forces and revolutionaries in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the Global Mobilization - Cold War Germany Creator DLC.
Overview[]
A West German-Austrian clone of an older steel helmet design worn by U.S. forces, the M/52 has served as the general-purpose combat helmet of all Danish infantry since its adoption in 1950s. Some armed revolutionary groups are also known to wear scavenged M/52s.
M/52 helmets weigh 10 "mass" units. Aside from the baseline model, the M/52 additionally features sub-variants with either camouflage covers or netting applied for supporting the attachment of shrubbery and leaves.
Hitpoints[]
Body part | Base armour value | Damage reduction modifier (vs. ballistic) | Damage reduction modifier (vs. explosions) |
---|---|---|---|
Head | 6 | 50% | 50% |
Camouflage[]
- Olive: Standard olive green colour scheme. Has an optional sub-variant with netting applied.
- Winter: Winter-themed variant intended for cold weather environments. Has a net applied by default.
Trivia[]
- M/52s were initially a BLUFOR-exclusive helmet until the release of Update 1.5, whereupon some units of the new Revolutionaries INDFOR faction would be equipped with it.[1]
