Helmet SSh-40 (S.O.G.)

The Helmet SSh-40 is a wearable hat used by PAVN forces in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the S.O.G. Prairie Fire Creator DLC.

Overview[]

A steel combat helmet of Soviet origin, the SSh-40 is mainly worn by field infantry units and sailors of the Vietnam People's Navy (VPN).

It has a weight of 10 "mass" units^{[CfgWp 1]} and retains a base armour value of 2^{[CfgWp 2]} with a 50% damage reduction modifier.^{[CfgWp 3]} The SSh-40 is not considered to be a ballistic-resistant helmet, however, and is only intended to protect the wearer from indirect explosions.
