The Helmet T56 is a ballistic-resistant helmet used by BLUFOR and INDFOR armoured vehicle crews in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the S.O.G. Prairie Fire Creator DLC.

Overview[]

An American-made tanker helmet, the T56 is primarily worn by U.S. Army/Marine Corps, Australian, South Korean, South Vietnamese, and Cambodian armoured fighting vehicle crews.

In addition to the baseline model with an uncustomised shell, T56s are available in five other variants with and without a pair of M44 protective goggles strapped, painted stripes, or "Bushwacker" written on the front. All variants share the same weight of 10 "mass" units.

T56s are considered to be ballistic-resistant helmets. The wearer can survive being hit by a low velocity 7.62 mm pistol bullet. However, as the T56 is mainly intended to protect the wearer from indirect explosions, it is not capable of allowing the wearer to survive hits from any larger calibres such as 7.62 mm rifle rounds and 9 mm submachine guns.
