La Pessagne is a settlement located on the island of Malden.
Overview[]
La Pessagne is a town located on the western side of the island. It is situated right in the middle of a crossroads that leads to three settlements: the village of Arudy to its east, Goisse in the far north, and La Rivière to the south. Additionally, a fourth path leads to Vigny, another village that is within walking distance of La Pessagne.
The town is best known for its award-winning food products. Camembert goat cheese produced by the Malden Cheese company is one of the island's prized delicacies. It has won numerous accolades from the International Cheese Committee - most recently in 2033 as "Cheese of the Year".[1]
On the other hand, the Athanos Olives company, founded in 2001, is also based at La Pessagne. Their signature olive-based products have similarly won awards for being the "best olives of the year".[2]
Globally, the popularity of goat cheese products from La Pessagne has drastically risen in recent decades and is widely consumed even in the Kingdom of Sahrani.[3]
