Light Combat Fatigues are uniforms worn by North African CSAT forces in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the Western Sahara Creator DLC.
Overview[]
The Light Combat Fatigues are essentially a mix between the standard-issue Light Fatigues and the heavier full-body Fatigues worn by the armoured vehicle crews of the Arganan military. It has an unloaded weight of 60 "mass"[CfgWp 1] but can store only 40 "mass" units worth of ammunition/items.[CfgWp 2]
Visually, the main changes for the Light Combat Fatigues are the inclusion of a pair of tan-coloured fingerless gloves and kneepads. Statistically, a few parts of the uniform actually do provide some protection - specifically for the wearer's abdomen, diaphragm, chest, arms, and pelvis.
However, it should be noted that the Light Combat Fatigues are not fully ballistic-resistant. It is mainly suited to minimising damage from indirect blasts rather than gunfire. Additionally, it should be noted that in the case of the wearer's chest and diaphragm, the Light Combat Fatigues are significantly worse off as they amplify explosive damage to those parts of the body as opposed to reducing it.
