Light Fatigues are uniforms worn by North African CSAT forces in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the Tac-Ops DLC.

Overview[]

A modified version of CSAT's regular combat Fatigues, this uniform is specifically worn by conventional North African CSAT forces. It has a weight of 60 "mass" units[CfgWp 1] and allows the wearer to store up to 40 units worth of ammunition/items.[CfgWp 2]

Essentially a downgraded export variant, the Light Fatigues offer the bare minimum of ballistic protection for its wearer. Only the user's pelvis and legs are partially considered to be ballistic-resistant. The wearer's torso and other limbs are not protected against small arms fire. Without a ballistic-resistant vest worn, the user remains exposed to damage from both bullet projectiles and indirect explosions.

Trivia[]

  • Light Fatigues are simply retextured Officer Fatigues with the shoulder boards and extra patches removed.
  • By default, an insignia of CSAT's Scimitar Regiment will always be applied to the uniform unless the unit has a custom insignia defined.
  • Despite clearly lacking the under-suit armour on regular CSAT Fatigues, the Light Fatigues strangely weigh more than most uniforms (60 "mass" vs. 40 "mass").
  • Although it is marked as content from Tac-Ops DLC, the Light Fatigues are a free asset and do not actually require ownership of the DLC to wear.[1]
