| « | The Russians have completely overrun Malden. Everyone's either evacuated or dead - except us. One last US squad, desperately trying to escape. The only way out is via the habor in La Riviere. A lot of Russians from this town are on their way to Cancon right now; we have no choice but to try and make a stand there. If we somehow manage to defend Cancon, we can seize La Riviere and get off this goddamn island. Mission Description

Overview[]
The mission is Player versus Environment (PvE) oriented and takes place on the Malden terrain.
Only BLUFOR (U.S.) is selectable. A maximum of six human or AI players can participate in the mission.
Trivia[]
- Lost Squad did not initially exist as part of Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis' launch content (the original title of Cold War Assault). It was only included following the release of Patch 1.20.[1]
