Located in the Upper Biela Valley Region, the Lukow Airfield lies between three towns: Lukow to its north, Gliniska in the south-east, and Bielawa to the west. Most of the airfield's structures are visibly decayed and the airstrip's radar is no longer active.

The non-canon First Contact campaign states that a group of "triangular shaped UFOs" were spotted over the Lukow Airfield in 1982.[1]
