« | The M1895 Revolver is a seven-shot, gas-seal revolver chambered for a proprietary cartridge, 7.62x38mmR, featuring an unusual gas-seal system, where the cylinder moves forward when the gun is cocked to close the gap between the cylinder and the barrel, providing a boost to muzzle velocity and allowing the weapon to be suppressed. The sound suppressor, known as the BRAMIT device was produced since 1929 for Soviet reconnaissance and scout troops. Suppressed M1895 revolvers, modified in clandestine workshops, also turned up in the hands of Viet Cong guerrillas during the Vietnam War as assassination weapons. Field Manual

Overview[]
- This section is a stub. You can help Armed Assault Wiki by expanding it.
The M1895 is a solid frame, seven shot revolver with a non-removable cylinder. It is chambered to fire the unique 7.62×38 mm rimmed cartridge.
Its cylinder is able to load up to 7 rounds at a time, and can attain a fire rate of up to 600 rounds per minute with a muzzle velocity of 330 m/s. M1895s are not able to mount optics or be dual-wielded with a flashlight/torch. They can however, be suppressed with a dedicated suppressor which can be fitted onto the muzzle.
Reloading the cylinder must be done manually per round as the M1895 lacks a speed loader. Furthermore, it is not a swing-out cylinder and takes twice - if not three times as long to reload compared to other revolvers in its class.
Ironsights[]

The M1895's ironsights cannot be manually zeroed.
