The M23 is a .45 handgun used exclusively U.S. military forces in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the CSLA Iron Curtain Creator DLC.
Overview[]
- This section is a stub. You can help Armed Assault Wiki by expanding it.
The M23 is a short-recoil operated, locked breech semi-automatic pistol that is chambered to fire the .45 ACP cartridge.
It can only load from 12-round box magazines, and can attain a fire rate of up to ~ 461 rounds per minute[CfgWp 6][Formula 1] with a muzzle velocity of 260 m/s.[CfgMa 2] It is not possible to mount optical sights onto the M23 but its muzzle can be fitted with a .45 sound suppressor.[CfgWp 7] A dedicated laser/light aiming module (usable only with M23 pistols) can also be attached onto the underbarrel rail.[CfgWp 8]
Ironsights[]

The M23's ironsights are set to a fixed zeroing setting of 50 metres.[CfgWp 9] This cannot be manually adjusted.
It should be noted that the light grey dots on both the front and rear sights are not actually illuminated and will not glow under low-light conditions.
