« | The M1891/30 is a modernized M1891 rifle introduced in 1930 which loads 5x 7.62×54mmR cartridges. During the Vietnam War, the Viet Cong and NVA used this rifle widely, which can be fitted with a bayonet, or very rarely with a PU scope for snipers. Field Manual

The M91/30 is a 7.62 mm sniper rifle used by several REDFOR factions in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the S.O.G. Prairie Fire Creator DLC.
Overview[]
- This section is a stub. You can help Armed Assault Wiki by expanding it.
The M91/30 is a sniper rifle configuration of the M38 bolt-action rifle.
It is only capable of loading from 5-round stripper clips, and can attain a fire rate of just ~ 27 rounds per minute with a muzzle velocity of 865 m/s.
Unlike the M38 or the sharpshooter-oriented M1891, the M91/30 is capable of not only fitting a bayonet spike but is able to mount a magnified telescopic sight with a 3.5x zoom. Although the user is still unable to mount suppressors, they can mask the weapon with a camouflage wrap which covers the entire length of the barrel and stock.
Ironsights[]

Without its scope attached, the M91/30's ironsights allow for manual zeroing starting from a minimum of 100 metres up to a maximum of 1,000 metres (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000). By default, it utilises a zeroing of 100 metres.
Melee[]
If its bayonet spike is not attached, melee attacks will default to hitting targets with a buttstroke. Melee attacks can inflict up to 7 points of damage if they successfully connect with the target.
It should be noted that melee attacks will cost stamina. Up to 8.32 points of stamina will be consumed whenever a buttstroke or bayonet stab is performed.[note 1]
Ammunition[]
Base damage value | Aerodynamic friction | Initial velocity (m/s) | Penetration depth (mm) |
---|---|---|---|
12 | -0.00096 | 808 | 19.392 |
The M91/30 can load two types of "magazines". They have identical weights of 4 "mass" units apiece, and are fully interchangeable with M1891s, M38s, and the VZ54:
5Rnd. M38 Clip[]

Standard 5-round stripper clip. Does not contain visible tracer rounds.
5Rnd. M38 Clip (Tracer)[]

Alternate "magazine" loaded entirely with visible tracer ammunition.
Trivia[]
- Prior to Update 1.3, the M91/30's telescopic sight was interchangeable with SKS carbines. The patch changed it so that both weapons now utilise a standalone version of the optic designed specifically for their respective platforms.[1]

Notes[]
- ↑ Stamina costs are calculated according to the following formula: (Weapon's "mass" * 0.04) * (Weapon's dexterity)
