NOTE: This article is about Morphine Injectors in ARMA Reforger. For its counterpart in ArmA Tactics, see Morphine injector (Tactics).

Morphine Injectors are medical items in ARMA Reforger.

Overview[]

« Morphine is used in cases when a serious injury affects mobility or aimed fire accuracy. It is also used on incapacitated soldiers, as it helps to recover faster. Morphine can be applied in your inventory screen. To use the item on others, one has to equip it (i.e. use it from an inventory quick slot), approach the injured person and use it on a specific hitzone.

Morphine injectors are consumable single-use[CmpIt 3] medical items that increase the user's health regeneration speed.[1] An individual morphine injector weighs 0.02 kg[CmpIt 4], occupies a 1x1 inventory slot[CmpIt 5], has a volume of 10 cm3[CmpIt 6], and has object dimensions of 5x5x5 cm.[CmpIt 7] Morphine Injectors have a Supply cost of 3 units, regardless of whether they are being obtained from an Arsenal Box or a Medical Kit.[EnCat 1][EnCat 2][EnCat 3]

Once administered to a person's arm, their vision will temporarily blur to indicate that the effects of morphine have begun to take place. Whilst its effects remain active, the user's health regeneration rate temporarily increases by 50%[CmpIt 1] over the course of 25 seconds.[CmpIt 2] Morphine can also be administered to incapacitated patients (who have less than 100% health) to reduce the amount of time it takes for them to regain consciousness.[1]

It should be noted that morphine cannot be administered to individuals who are not injured. Even if the intended user has fallen unconscious and has less than 35% blood remaining, it will not be possible to inject morphine into them unless they are not at full health.[SCR 1]

Trivia[]

  • Morphine injectors were not originally available at release and were only included after Update 0.9.9.47.[2]
  • Unlike in reality[3], it is not possible to overdose with in-game Morphine Injectors no matter how many times that the player injects themselves or others with it.
