Nifi (Altian: Νύφι) is a settlement located on the island of Altis in the Republic of Altis and Stratis.
Overview[]
Nifi is a small mining village that directly lies in-between the towns of Charkia to the west, Rodopoli to the north, and Kalochori to the east.
Walking along the two smaller dirt trails to the south will eventually lead to the saltwater lake of Limni. For tourists, a short trek to the peak of the quarry will lead to a shelter that offers an excellent view of the lake.

A salt marsh located to the south-east of Nifi (at grid 209-147), Limni is periodically flooded depending on the time of year.[1]
Trivia[]
- Limni's real-world counterpart on the island of Lemnos, Greece, is the lake of Chortarolimni.
- Regardless of what weather conditions or time of the year is set in the editor, Limni will never be inundated and will remain mostly dried up (the "pools" of water are simply parts of the terrain that are depressed low enough to sea level).
- Limni is prominently depicted in the non-canonical ending of The East Wind where the player has to navigate through a minefield scattered throughout the marsh.[2]
