Otorak, alternately stylised as OTORAK, is an automotive manufacturer.
Background[]
Otorak is the manufacturer of the MSE-3 Marid[1], an amphibious, wheeled 6x6 Armoured Personnel Carrier[2] that was designed specifically with reliability and low maintenance costs in mind.[3][4]
Otorak's clients are primarily members of the CSAT alliance.[4] Chinese and Iranian military forces alike are known to employ the MSE-3 Marid, as do the armed forces of several North African CSAT member states.[5]

Trivia[]
- Otorak is a deliberate misspelling of "Otokar", an automotive/defence company based in Türkiye. The real-world Otokar company manufactures the 6x6 version of the "Arma" APC that the in-game MSE-3 Marid is modelled after.
- The company was first introduced into the Armaverse with the release of ArmA 3.

It's an agile and maneuverable vehicle with a low silhouette and compact size. Its reliability and maintenance costs match the western APCs. It's fitted as standard with an RCWS turret with 40 mm GMG and 6.5 mm LMG and is able to carry up to 8 soldiers in the cargo space."

China has attempted to de-escalate the crisis by allowing us to land a temporary holding force to monitor its long-range jets. However, troops from CSAT's North African member states are against us. They've retreated inland with some armored assets and man-portable AA systems, harassing our troops from afar. To deal with the threat, we're striking their positions from the north and south, with one group pushing down towards La Trinité and another, cutting-off logistics from the direction of the harbor and our provisional base at Camp Noe."
