The Pathet Lao (short form: PL, officially the Lao People's Liberation Army) is a REDFOR faction in ArmA 3. It was added with the release of the S.O.G. Prairie Fire Creator DLC.

Overview

Officially known as the Lao People's Liberation Army, the Pathet Lao is guided and militarily supported by North Vietnam in its political and military struggle for power over the U.S.-backed regime.

Trivia

• The Pathet Lao were not included as part of S.O.G. Prairie Fire's launch content. The faction was only added after the release of Update 1.2.
• As with its INDFOR counterpart, the Pathet Lao's units do not have access to a dedicated Lao radio protocol and simply utilise muted voices (also shared with the PAVN).
