Porto is a playable terrain in ArmA: Armed Assault. It was added with the release of the Queen's Gambit expansion pack.
Overview

Situated to the east of the Sahranian mainland, Porto is a territory of the Kingdom of Sahrani[1] and is located approximately ~ 72 kilometres from the mainland's eastern coast.[2]
In times past, Porto once served as an important harbour ruled by a wealthy minority of Arabian merchants. Its modern history, however, has been less illustrious, with urban decay transforming the settlement into a sedentary fishing town reeking of dead sealife, rubbish, and smuggled alcohol.[3]
Far away from international shipping routes, the island rarely attracts tourists nowadays despite its exquisite fishing and diving spots - the result of an embarrassing debacle involving foreigners at the so-called "Dream Beach Village".[3]
Geography

Excluding with the surrounding islands, Porto's total landmass clocks in at a mere 1 square kilometre.[4]
The terrain comprises of flat, grassy surfaces intermixed with rocky beaches. Sparse sycamore forests are located in the eastern and western sides of the island.
Settlements
Porto only has two populated settlements. Several smaller villages can be found dotted around the outskirts of the town, however.
Towns
Largo

Largo is a fishing village located on the eastern side of Porto.
The sailor's pub has a notorious reputation for serving a cocktail known only as the "Marauder's Mojito". Non-locals are strongly advised to not order the drink under any circumstances.[3]
Porto

The town of Porto is located in the middle of the island. It distinctly comprises of a harbour area and a city centre with a large open-air market.
Comparable in size to the Kingdom's capital, Porto's most notable landmark is the minaret tower located at the city centre. An iconic landmark, it offers a spectacular view of the entire island and surrounding waters - assuming one climbs all 167 stairs to the top.
Points of interest
Lighthouse Hill
A hill on the southern coast once housed a gun emplacement dating back to the 18th century CE when Sahrani was still a colony of the British Empire.[5]
Despite its historical significance, much of the foundation has been ransacked by locals and turned into building materials to construct homes. For unclear reasons, reptiles and arachnids ranging from snakes to scorpions are also known to gather in abundance around the ruins.[3]

Trivia
- Porto was not originally available upon Armed Assault's release and was only included with the Queen's Gambit expansion pack.
- The minaret tower is unique for being a "borrowed" asset that was lent to the development team for the creation of Porto.[3]
- The asset was originally made for Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2), a simulator title released by Bohemia Interactive Simulations (otherwise known as BISim), a separate company unaffiliated to the Czech BI studio.

On the other side, military strength of Porto is laughable, there is just few policemen there."
